We are currently looking for people to participate in our onsite study Toffee in Sunnyvale, California.
What is the study about?
This study focuses on recording natural group conversations to create high-quality speech datasets. Small groups of people will participate in engaging discussions and interactive activities while being recorded on video.
We’re looking to capture natural communication styles and authentic group dynamics in a structured setting, with a variety of English accents represented.
Task Description:
You will participate in an onsite group session with 2–4 participants and 1 moderator. The session will be audio and video recorded. During the session, participants will discuss assigned topics or scenarios in an authentic and natural way.
Since each session requires a group of 2–4 participants, you may choose to participate with someone you know, and you will be asked to provide their names and email addresses in the sign-up form below. If you do not have someone available to join you onsite, our team will pair you with other participants.
Who is eligible?
To participate you should meet the following qualifying criteria:
- Aged 18 to 64.
- Be fluent in English. Participant must be comfortable holding a spoken conversation with another English speaker; must be able to communicate effectively and follow instructions from our Study Team.
- Be able to visit the study location in Sunnyvale, California, for a scheduled session onsite and participate in the study procedures as described.
Where is the study taking place?
This is an onsite study taking place at our premises in Sunnyvale, California.
How much is the compensation?
Each person who successfully participates will receive $100 USD.
As payment method, we offer PayPal, Gift Card, Check and Wire Transfer, according to your preference.
How long does it take?
It will take up to 90 minutes to complete the onsite session.
