For participants under 18 years old, a parent or legal guardian must provide consent and supervise their participation throughout the study visit.
What is the study about?
This study focuses on recording natural movement and facial expressions to create high-quality datasets. You will be video recorded in a large room with controlled lighting while completing a series of guided movement activities (such as walking) in a natural way.
Task Description:
If you agree to enroll and are selected, you will take part in a moderated onsite session lasting up to 90 minutes. An onsite moderator will guide you through a set of activities and coordinate the video recording. You’ll be asked to complete each activity naturally. We are recruiting both adult and child participants.

- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be fluent in English.
- Be able to travel to the study location in Dearborn.

- Be fluent in English.
- Be registered by a parent or legal guardian, who must provide consent and accompany them during the study visit.
Where is the study taking place?

How much is the compensation?
The adult and minor sessions are separate sessions, the adult in the pair must come to the site twice, once by themselves (for their session) and once with the child (for the child’s session). As the child cannot be left unattended while the adult completes their session, the child session will most likely happen on separate days. The compensation is setup to cover that.
- Adult participating alone (one session): $100 USD
Adult participating with a child in two separate sessions:
- Adult session: $120 USD
- Child session: $150 USD (paid to the adult)
Adult participants are age 18 or older and child participants are under the age of 18.
