What is the project about?
The purpose of this project is to create high-quality story content to help test and improve Machine Translation technology. Submissions will not be published or distributed, and writers retain the right to use their work as they wish after submission.
Task Description:
The project task is to complete 1 short story of approximately 6,000 words.
After being selected, the task begins with submitting a brief plot for approval. Once approved, writers can proceed to complete the story within the specified timeframe. If needed, revisions may be required based on feedback received.
The short story must be in one of the following genres, and the genre will be assigned based on your selected preference:
- Kids
- Thriller/Mystery
- Sci-fi/Fantasy
- Self-help
- Romance
- Memoir/Biography
Who is eligible?
To participate you should meet the following qualifying criteria:
- Residency in Poland
- Native-level fluency and excellent writing skills in Polish (grammar, spelling)
- Working proficiency in English (all communication and guidelines are in English)
- Degree in Literature or Creative Writing and/or proven experience in writing or content creation
- Strong preference for candidates with published books and/or high-quality writing samples in relevant genres
Where is the project taking place?
This is a fully remote project. You can participate from the comfort of your home.
When will the project start?
This project is estimated to start during the week of Aug 31, 2026.
How long does it take?
We estimate it will take approximately 16.75 hours over a 2-week period to complete this project.

How much is the compensation?
$418 USD per accepted short story (around 6,000 words) - covering all stages, including revisions after QA and client feedback if needed.
As payment method, we offer PayPal, Gift Card, and Wire Transfer, according to your preference.
Please note that all submissions will be checked by our Quality Assurance team (including AI and plagiarism checks) and compensation will be provided for fully completed and accepted assets. The project team will provide you with feedback once the Quality Check process is completed.
