Sonata Voice Data Collection (Remote) – Italy

We are currently looking for people to participate in our remote voice data collection project – Sonata.

 

About

What is the project about?

This project aims to record Italian (Italy) speech in the form of voicemails that will be used to improve voice recognition technologies for virtual assistants.

Task Description:

For this project, you will be asked to record 20 short voicemails covering a variety of provided scenarios.

Eligible

Who is eligible?

To participate you should meet the following qualifying criteria:  

  • Be 18 years or older.  
  • Have idiomatic fluency in Italian (Italy). 
  • You must reside in Italy.
  • Have an iPhone XR+ or a newer iPhone model, running the latest available iOS version (iOS 18 for iPhone XR/XS/XS Max, iOs 26 for iPhone 11 and newer models fabricated after 2019).

This is a remote project in Italy.

Time How Long

How long does it take?

It will take up to 1 hour (including preparation time) to record the 20 voicemail scenarios. Each voicemail scenario must be at least 40 seconds long.

Compensation

How much is the compensation?

You will receive $22 USD for 20 voicemails.
As payment methods we offer PayPal or Gift Card.

Please note that our Quality Assurance team will review all submissions to ensure they meet the project specific requirements. The project team will provide you with feedback once the quality check is completed.
