Software Quality Analysts

We are looking for Software Quality Analysts for our Mosaic project.

The Software Quality Analyst is responsible for auditing and evaluating software applications, digital workflows, and in-app experiences to ensure they meet defined quality, usability, and content standards. This role focuses on reviewing functionality, accuracy, relevance, and user experience, assigning structured quality ratings, and providing clear feedback to support continuous product improvement.

Work Location: Remote

Engagement Model: Freelancer / Independent Contractor

Project Duration: Long-term; continuous

Preferred availability: 15 hours per week or more

Responsibilities:

  • Rate software applications, digital tools, and in-app workflows across web and mobile platforms  
  • Evaluate functionality, usability, navigation, content accuracy, and overall user experience  
  • Validate alignment with documented quality standards, requirements, and evaluation guidelines  
  • Assign quality ratings based on the approved grading scale  
  • Identify defects, inconsistencies, usability issues, and off-topic or irrelevant content  
  • Ensure consistency and objectivity across all audits  
  • Meet accuracy, coverage, and turnaround-time targets

Requirements:

  • Idiomatic fluency in one of the following languages: English (United States), English (Great Britain), English (Canada), Mandarin Simplified, German (Germany), Japanese, Korean (South Korea), English (Australia), English (India), English (South Africa), Spanish (Mexico), Spanish (Spain), English (Ireland), French (France), Cantonese (Hong Kong), Traditional Chinese (Taiwan), Italian (Italy),  Russian, English (Singapore), Vietnamese, English (New Zealand), Modern Standard Arabic, Thai  
  • Access to a computer with reliable internet connection 
  • Fluent reading and comprehension skills in English 
  • Ability to evaluate software and digital content with awareness of regional and cultural contexts 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail 
  • Ability to follow structured evaluation frameworks and grading rubrics 
  • Excellent written communication skills for clear documentation and reporting 
  • Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines 
  • Experience using iTunes is a plus
