Elgon - Remote video collection - Romania

We are currently looking for people to participate in our Elgon project.
What is the project about?
The purpose of this project is to create first-person video recordings of daily routine activities using a smartphone mounted to a headband holder, allowing for natural movement and hands-free filming.
Task Description:
You will have to provide video recordings of your daily routine activities (indoor and outdoor) using your smartphone attached to a head mount strap/holder on your head. You can record any activities that you perform during a day (e.g. meal preparation, house-cleaning, reading a book, exercise, walking a dog etc.) The recordings must not contain any Personal Identifiable Information (PII), such as faces, contact information, ID information etc. The duration of each video should be min. 15 minutes and a maximum 60 minutes.
Who is eligible?
To participate you should meet the following qualifying criteria:
- Be 18 years or older.
- Be a resident of Romania.
- Have an iOS smartphone with 0.5 zoom (iPhone 12 or newer, except iPhone Air) or Android smartphone with ultrawide mode (mostly models released after year 2020).
- Be able to use Smartphone and head mount strap/holder.
Where is the project taking place?
This is a fully remote project. You can participate from the comfort of your home or preferred location within/in Romania.
Estimated Project Duration
This project is estimated to last until the end of 2026. Each participant can provide up to 60 hours of video recordings in total.
How much is the compensation?
You will receive $8 USD per one hour of accepted video recording.
As payment method, we offer PayPal, Gift Card, and Wire Transfer, according to your preference.
Please note that our Quality Assurance team will review all submissions to ensure they meet the project specific requirements. The project team will provide you with feedback once the Quality Check process is completed.
